JadaL (English: Controversy) is a Jordanian Arabic Pop Rock band and a music project, formed in 2003 by Mahmoud Radaideh, a composer, songwriter, guitarist, music producer and vocalist.

When JadaL released their re-arranged cover single ‘El-Tobah’, a famous song by the legendary Abdel-Halim Hafez, their musical style was immediately coined as Arabic Rock, and was described as ‘groundbreaking’ due to its unique blend of Rock and Arabic.

JadaL then released their first original single Salma, a song which Radaideh wrote and composed for his niece, which quickly became a radio hit and gained many followers, thus cementing JadaL as one of the premier Arabic rock bands in the country and soon after in the whole region.

In 2009, JadaL released their debut album, Arabic Rocks, the album with its 14 songs was not only a huge success, but an important production that reaffirmed their music signature and confirmed their principles, and moved them to the front lines of the local and regional independent music scene.  Arabic Rocks, written mainly by Radaideh, also featured Palestinian Hip-hop Band DAM on the track ‘Ya Bani Adam’ (Ya Human Being).

The second album 'El Makina' (English: The Machine), was released in December 2012, composed, written and produced by Mahmoud Radaideh. The album marked another era of tremendous success and unexpected spread out far beyond the Levant’s borders. Since then JadaL’s popularity has been on the rise, and they’ve been touring in several Arab countries including Palestine, Egypt and Morocco.

JadaL’s Third album was released on July 2016 that had multiple succesful hits such as “Wahdeh bteshbahek” “Yumain o leila” “Kanz” “Malyoun” and many more!

المقدمة

جدل هي فرقة موسيقى "الروك العربي" الأردنية قام محمود الردايدة (مؤلف موسيقي، عازف جيتار و منتج موسيقي) بتشكيلها في عام 2003، حيث احتوت عدة أعضاء على مر السنين. تعد جدل من أولى فرق الروك العربي في المنطقة وحاليّا من أنجح المشاريع الموسيقية العربية المستقلة بمتابعيين من شتى أنحاء الوطن العربي والعالم!

بدأت طريقها باعادة توزيع أغنية "كل ما أقول التوبة" للفنان الراحل عبد الحليم حافظ وذلك بأسلوب الروك الخاص بفرقة جدل. وكانت هذه الخطوة بمثابة جذب المستمعين  لأسلوب الروك العربي المبتكر. قامت الفرقة باصدار عدة أغنيات منفردة اللتي لاقت نجاحاً مميزاً واهتماماً كبيراً  بين الشباب ومختلف الأعمار في البلدان العربية منها أغنية "سلمى"  اللتي ألّفها محمود الردايدة لابنت أخته من ألبومها الأول "الروك عربي" وأغنيتا "أنا بخاف من الكوميتمنت" و"الماكينة" من  الألبوم الثاني "الماكينة" وتصوير عدة فيديو كليبات والتي حققت نجاحاً باهراً في الأردن والدول المجاورة. تطرح أعمال وأغاني جدل موضيع شخصية واجتماعية لكن باسلوب فريد من نوعه ينشدها ويرددها المعجبين في الدول العربية المختلفة وباللهجة الأردنية!

الأعمال الفنية

محصلة جدل الى الآن هو ألبومين اولهما "الروك عربي" أصدر في 2009 و اخرهما ألبوم "الماكينه" اللذي تم اصداره في بداية عام 2013،عدة فيديو كليبات وأغاني منفردة أصدرت مؤخرا سيتم اضافتها للألبوم الثالث في 2015   

المهرجانات

قامت جدل أيضاً بالمشاركة بمهرجانات واحتفالات محلية عدّة مثل مهرجان الأردن(2009-2010)، مهرجان صيف عمان وغيرها الكثير، وعالمية مثل مهرجان دينيزلي التركي ومهرجان العيد المجيد في بيت لحم شاركت جدل أيضاً في عديد من المهرجانات في مصر، لبنان،تونس، المغرب، فلسطين،وافتتاح حفل الفنان عمر دياب في دبي.

المشاركات التلفزيونية

شاركت جدل أيضاً في عدة برامج تلفيزيونية عربية من المحيط الى الخليج، مثل مؤخراً برنامح كوك ستوديو

Coke studio حيث شارك جدل في اعادة توزيع أغنيةالتراث  "جدّلي يم الجدايل"للفنان الراحل عبده موسى  بمشاركة عازفة الكماان اليابانية ديانا ياكاوا واللذي عرض على mbc4 عدة مرات ليشاهده ملايين العرب وأيضاً هذه الأغنية وصلت الى أكثر من مليون وأربعمائة ألف مشاهدة 1,500,000 وأغنية جدل الجديدة "وحدة بتشبهك" تصل الى أكثر من 5600,000 مشاهدة

أيضا كثيرا من البرامج والمقابلات على قنوات يكثر عددها من عدة بلاد عربية وغربية.

الأهداف

من أهم أهداف جدل الأردنية هو نشر الوعي المويسيقي في مجتمعاتنا العربية وأن هناك حركة موسيقى مستقلة عربية تنافس حالياً الموسيقى التجارية وقد تستبدلها في المستقبل القريب.
